Privium has been named as a cool brand in the Cool Branding 2007 awards. Privium basically takes a copy of your iris' so you can peer into a scanner at Schiphol airport in Amsterdam and walk straight through border control without queuing. Awesome. It is a little weird carrying your iris' on a card though.Continue reading "privium | cool branding 2007"
old woman gets her own back on banks
Been around before but still provides a much needed chuckle. THE TIMES - Letter of the Year: An elderly lady actually wrote this letter to her bank. Dear Sir, I am writing to thank you for bouncing my cheque with which I endeavoured to pay my plumber last month. By my calculations, three 'nanoseconds' mustContinue reading "old woman gets her own back on banks"
green motors: creative challenge
The Low Carbon Vehicle Partnership has launched a creative challenge to the ad industry. Can they create sexy motoring ads about being green? I think Honda already have it licked. Nice bit of bullshit bingo in the intro too: "It will provide a platform for an interchange of ideas ..."
top gear needs you
In his blog, Jeremy Clarkson reveals he has no clue as to what Top Gear should do next. More of the same I should say. Post a reply to him. Go on. More Top Gear/Clarkson stuff on MSN.
simple becomes complex
Paper aeroplanes. Simple. Yes? Well, no. Apparently this is the stealth bomber of paper aeroplanes complete with fully downloadable instructions and umpteen pictures to guide you through it. Unfortunately my father had a silent type of heart disease and as he presented no pain or symptoms,Continue reading "keeping the old ticker going"

a kind of truman show
"Justin wears the camera 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Even in the bathroom. Even on a date." I'm not sure I care. He's been going for 19 days now. I bet he gets bored before the month is out. 20 minutes of waiting & I can't get to see his world anyway.Continue reading "a kind of truman show"
