Balls. Lots of them. For free. And lots more stuff too. Liven up your powerpoint today. Like I did. Better still, get Keynote. Like I did. And although it's for free, donate something. Like I did - a coffee. Are blogs reaching the final frontier before Man? Blog in space. I can't tell if thisContinue reading "stuff and things 07.11.07"
influential talker or listener?
I found this on Forrester as part of a project I'm doing about how to use social media to influence people who are on the fence (that's as much as I can say right now due to NDA stuff). This is a grab of a chart in a Forrester study into Wikipedia and it's useContinue reading "influential talker or listener?"
stuff and things 04.11.07
I'm always pleased when someone demystifies and explains some new stuff in a simple way. And, more importantly, helps me to make more of it to improve my productivity. After all, we're all becoming information overload patients (I'm thinking Keanu Reeves in Johnny Mnemonic hence the visual above. What a great word btw.). I'm foreverContinue reading "stuff and things 04.11.07"
stuff and things 03.11.07
We all know that word of mouth is hugely important in today's world. But here's some great facts and charts that back this up to add credibility to any persuasion you may need to do. Good advertising doesn't necessarily require a great product or a USP. Message + location = impact. I learned something newContinue reading "stuff and things 03.11.07"

Another loft clear, another lot of ebay. Go on, have a look. Treat yourself.
stuff and things 02.11.07
Informative post on Twitter & super users with lots of off-shoots to other conversations. Some great sound bites on Twitter and synergies between it and mobile for teen audience. Any question answered text service. It costs £1 a pop. Although having your URL as the SMS short code is a nice idea, it's hardly memorableContinue reading "stuff and things 02.11.07"
flat halloween and a tip on what to do with pumpkin
Last year we were inundated with the kids of the area dressed up as little horrors. This year we bought and extra large box of sweeties for the little munchkins. And only four turned up. I know we don't do Halloween in the same way as in the States but that was crap. Anyway,Continue reading "flat halloween and a tip on what to do with pumpkin"
4.0
Die Hard 4.0 came out on DVD yesterday so I finally got to watch it after missing out on it in the cinema. And here's Spam with a tremendous vest courtesy of Total Film (it's actually a beer bottle sleeve but don't tell him). And an interview with Bruce Willis in Second Life foundContinue reading "4.0"
blog action day+16
While doing some much needed catching up on my feed reader this past week I discovered I had missed the boat on the blog action day on 15.10. Apparently on this day every blogger was meant to write about something to do with the environment. Well, I missed it. So here's my thing 16 daysContinue reading "blog action day+16"
dark side of second life
Sky News report into paedophilia in Second Life. Unfortunately I guess it was bound to happen but so very wrong and disturbing. While many people enjoy Second Life and have a lot of fun and even conduct business, this should never have a place in the real or virtual world. Causes you to consider whereContinue reading "dark side of second life"
