Yesterday was Earth Day. I’ll try & plop a few posts out today on some green things. Two companies have stuck out recently with some big green messages and commitments. First, Eurostar with their new Tread Lightly initiative. Eurostar has made a commitment to reduce emissions by 25%. As a train operator, surely they’re inContinueContinue reading “tread lightly & plan a | earth day”

in-ger-lund
The Nationwide Building Society are doing some nice things in the banking world at the moment but more importantly, as a main sponsor of the England (and Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland teams too) they’re not just letting their executives take a jolly with their generous match ticket allocations. Instead, they’re offering them to realContinueContinue reading “in-ger-lund”
poor timing but nice smells
An email from Boss Fragrances arrived in my inbox yesterday to show their sponsorship of the England cricket team, update on the world cup and offer me a free sample and, if I splash out (get it – oh, yes) £30 on Boss fragrances not only will I smell divine but I can also getContinueContinue reading “poor timing but nice smells”
hello kitty hell
One man has had enough of cute overload and created hello kitty hell. Funny. I like the star wars hello kitty tat above though.

top marketing blogs
Bone up on the full list. Digitasian’s (and by virtue, close living relatives of me) Verdino & Armano make the top 150. I don’t. Perhaps just as well.
in game advertising | imedia
Hot on the heels of the IAB report, imedia say it’s all about: Audience, engagement, relevance, accountabilty, mindshare. Blah. Just see some nice examples from Adidas, Pontiac, Visa and Chrysler to boot.

you only live twice
As Virtual Worlds 2007 kicks off (yes, there’s a conference now), I thought I would share this video from Australia ABC network (thanks to Ben Liebmann) that acts as both an introduction to Second Life and its possibilities and also could act as a reference point to clients and colleagues who are buzzing about it,ContinueContinue reading “you only live twice”
